How To See Who Follows & Likes Your Spotify Playlist

If you have a Spotify playlist, you might be curious about the people who follow your playlist or who have liked it on Spotify. I have done some research on this subject and written for you about it right here.

Spotify Playlist

If you open a playlist in Spotify and look for a follower or like count near the playlist’s title and information, you will be able to determine how many people are following the playlist in question. You are able to view the total number of followers you have, but you are unable to view the followers’ individual profiles.

In addition to this, it is essential to keep in mind that:

  • If the playlist has no subscribers, it will only display the name of the person who created the playlist.
  • If you view the playlist through the desktop app, the app on your smartphone, or the web browser, the follower and like count will appear in different areas of the interface each time.
  • On mobile devices and in web browsers, this feature is referred to as “Likes,” while the desktop version of the app refers to it as “Followers.”

Keep reading, my friend, and you’ll find out more about whether or not this feature will ever be added to Spotify, whether or not there are any workarounds, and how you can see the number of people who follow a playlist on Spotify in more detail.

How to Check Which Spotify Users Have Favorited Your Playlist

The creators of playlists on Spotify do not have the ability to view the users who have liked their playlists on the platform. Instead, the number of people who are following or liking a playlist on Spotify is displayed close to where the information about the playlist can be found.

Simply following these steps will allow you to view the number of people who have given a playlist a thumbs up on Spotify:

  • Launch the Spotify application on your mobile device, desktop computer, or web browser.
  • Perform a search for a playlist, or navigate to your library and open a playlist there.
  • Look for the number of people who are following or liking the playlist near the information about it.

The count will appear in different places and be referred to by a variety of names depending on the type of Spotify app that you are using. Take a look at the examples that follow so that you are aware of what to look for and where to look for it.

Will there be an option on Spotify to view the users who follow a particular playlist?

Before recently, playlist creators on Spotify were able to view a list of users who had liked or followed their playlists. This feature has since been removed. However, this feature was removed in an update in March of 2013, and it has not been reinstated since then.

 Spotify Playlist

Even though this is the most-requested feature in the Spotify forums, the company has said that they are putting the ideas in the “Not Right Now” bin and have no plans to add this feature in the near future.

It does not appear likely that they will add it back in at this time, and it is most likely that they removed the feature in order to protect the listeners of Spotify from having their privacy compromised.

Is there a way to find out who subscribed to my playlist on Spotify using a hack?

You can also check to see who follows your personal Spotify account as an alternative to checking to see who follows your playlist on Spotify. The majority of playlists found on Spotify were compiled by users of the service, and the name of the user who compiled the playlist can be found near the playlist’s title and information. You can use this to get a general idea of the number of people who follow your playlist, but the exact number will not be displayed.

Some listeners may also choose to follow the playlist creator in order to keep up to date with any new playlists that the playlist creator may add. Spotify users do have the ability to see who follows their user accounts, and this feature is available to them. Just follow these steps to find out who has signed up for your Spotify account:

How To See Who Follows & Likes Your Spotify Playlist (Explained)

  • Launch the Spotify application on your mobile device, desktop computer, or web browser.
  • Ensure that you are logged in, and then click on the name of your profile.
  • Simply select the “Followers” tab from the menu.

This workaround or hack is pretty lame and really only gets you in the ballpark of who is following your specific playlist. It is important to note that this workaround or hack is pretty lame.

How to Get More People to Follow Your Spotify Playlists (The Legit Way)

Now that you know how many people are following your playlist, you may be interested in learning legitimate ways to increase the number of followers and likes on your open spotify playlist.

Running ads on Facebook and Instagram is the most effective way to grow the number of followers of a Spotify playlist. You can also promote your playlists on social media sites and discussion forums, but this won’t work as well.

The following are the three primary ways to increase the number of people following your Spotify playlist:

  • You can use Facebook and Instagram to spread the word about your playlist by sending posts to people who are most likely to like the songs you’ve chosen.
  • You should promote your playlists on the social media accounts you already have.
  • Spread the word about your playlist on various message boards and subreddits.

 Spotify Playlist

Regardless of the strategy you decide to use to promote your playlist, the most important thing is to concentrate on drawing in genuine listeners who will actually make use of it and interact with it.

Why is this?

Because Spotify is cracking down on artificial streams that come from bots or click farms, your playlist could be removed entirely if Spotify suspects that it was generated in an automated manner.

Additionally, if you want to make money off of your Spotify playlists, you should keep in mind that artists will only pay to be featured on playlists that actually result in an increase in the number of streams their music receives, and companies that provide playlist submission services will give priority to playlists that have listeners who are active and engaged.

How You Can Make Money Off of Your Playlists On Spotify

Before you can get paid directly by artists for song placements, for reviewing song submissions, or by selling your playlist, you need to build up the follower count of the playlist with real listeners. If you want to make money from Spotify playlists, you need to build up your follower count.

There are three primary approaches to monetizing Spotify playlists, and they are as follows:

  • Receive payment for song placements from the artists themselves.
  • By reviewing submitted songs, you can earn money for the consideration of song placements.
  • Someone else could benefit from purchasing your playlist.

Having said that, in each of these scenarios, the first step that you need to take is to increase the number of real, genuine, and engaged listeners who follow your playlist.

A good place to begin is to increase the number of followers on your playlist until it has a total of 1,000 because this is the threshold at which you can apply to SubmitHub and

You will receive compensation from both of those companies for every song that you consider adding to your playlist. However, you will need to provide feedback and at least listen for about 30 seconds.

How to Arrange Your Music Collection on Spotify

You can organise your music on Spotify in one of two ways: either do it yourself by creating and managing playlists, or make use of a third-party tool such as “Organize Your Music” by Playlist Machinery. These are the best two options.

In either scenario, the first thing you will need to do is come up with a plan for how you want your music arranged, whether that be according to the type of music you listen to, the year it was recorded, the mood you are in at the time, such as when you are studying, or an upcoming event, such as a party.

Check out my article titled “How To Organize Your Spotify Music” to learn more about how you can organise your music on Spotify. The article includes a breakdown of both techniques and examples of how other people organise their music.

Statistics and a Streaming Activity Tracker for Spotify Analytics

I have researched exactly how you can begin tracking your Spotify streams if you want to keep track of your personal song stats and analytics on Spotify, such as which songs and artists you listen to the most. If this is something that interests you, read on.

It is necessary to link your personal Spotify account to the free application known as Last FM in order to monitor your personal analytics, stats, and streams on Spotify. As soon as you are connected, you will be able to monitor everything that you stream using the Spotify app, the web player, and any other device that is connected to Spotify.

Check out the complete version of my article on Spotify Analytics for Listeners if you want more information on how you can set this up and start tracking your personal stats. What should you do if you want to find out how many times a specific song has been played on Spotify in its entirety?

A Guide to Viewing Streams on Spotify (For Artists and Listeners)

Visit the artist’s Spotify profile to see “popular” songs. Signing up for Spotify For Artists lets artists check their song streams.

If you’re not the artist, you can only see the “Popular” section’s play counts.

If you’re an artist with access to Spotify For Artists, you can see each song’s total plays.

How to Examine Spotify Streams has step-by-step instructions for both methods.

How to Locate Your Favorite Musicians and Bands on Spotify

Using a third-party tool like LastFM or Stats For Spotify, as well as Spotify’s built-in features such as Wrapped, Your Top Songs, or Today’s Top Fans, is the best way to find your favourite artists on Spotify. Other options include Stats For Spotify.

You will need to look outside of Spotify to find it, and you will need to give these tools access to your Spotify data in order to make use of the benefit of using a third-party tool, which is that it clearly displays the information about top artists that you are seeking.

Check out the full version of my article on How to Find Your Top Artists on Spotify to learn more about these choices and to determine which is the most effective strategy for you to use to locate your favourite artists on Spotify.

As an artist, the following is a list of the tools and resources that I personally used to get my music streamed more than 4,000,000 times on Spotify. These are some of my favourites, and I highly recommend using them.

When it comes to music-related websites such as ToneDen and Hyppeddit, I’m not a huge supporter of the link-in-bio or smart link features.

In its place, I prefer to have a full-fledged WordPress website, which not only lets me have a full website but also gives me access to an unlimited number of music links.

When it comes to getting started with this, my favourite web hosting service is Bluehost because it is the most affordable, and my favourite theme is Thrive Themes because it offers the most customization options and is the simplest to work with. Spotify Playlist

I have actually developed a free Smart Links Course for you to take in order to learn how to get set up and start getting more streams with custom smart links (I have even included the templates that I am using!). You can access this course by clicking here.

When you download a Spotify playlist, the music files are saved locally on your phone, tablet, or computer. This means you can listen to the music at any time without being connected to the internet. If you download a playlist on one device, you won’t be able to download it on any other device. You’ll have to download each playlist separately.
